Our Mission: “The Mission of PPRB (Partnership to Prevent Risky Behaviors) is to eliminate the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by underage youth through education of our youth and parents, encouraging enforcement of current policies, making new policies where necessary and building community awareness so that substance abuse will no longer be a norm.”
Missouri is passionate about preventing youth substance use and has developed a collaborative network of prevention coalitions, agencies and individuals to address the data-driven needs that arise in communities.

PPRB is our Task Force that is a comprehensive, community-based approach to reduce substance misuse and violent crime, build stronger community relations, increase access to education and jobs and implement responsible justice reforms.
Led by Lee’s Summit CARES INC in collaboration with community-based organizations, the faith community, business leaders, city government officials, Educational Institutions and law enforcement. PPRB focuses on relevant strategies to address the root causes of violence: prevention, intervention, enforcement support, reentry and reforms, and support services.
