WE PROVIDE LOCAL PARENTING CLASSES TO GIVE YOU THE SUPPORT YOU NEED.

About the sessions we offer

We currently have 4 facilitators who have been trained in the Love and Logic way of parenting and are ready to share what they know. We also provide free parenting videos online of this curriculum.

6-WEEK

SESSIONS

Each session meets once a week for 6 weeks, typically from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm.

3-WEEK

SESSIONS

Sessions will be held twice a week for 1 hour, typically from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm

SATURDAY

SESSIONS

This one-time session meets from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on a Saturday

Parenting Facilitator

Jamie Goodwin

Jamie Goodwin was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. Married to her husband for over seventeen years, they have a happily blended family with four children ranging in ages from nine to thirty. Yes, they had one in diapers and one in college at the same time! Her educational experience with her children began in private school, transitioning to homeschooling for several years, now finishing their academia in the Liberty Public School District. She has a Bachelor of Arts in child psychology and is a Trained Independent Trainer of the Parenting the Love and Logic Way®, 9 Essential Skills for the Love & Logic Classroom®, and Love & Logic: Supporting Youth with Special Needs® curricula. She serves families, nonprofits and government agencies throughout the Kansas City area.

Parenting Facilitator

Leslie Stivers

Leslie Stivers is a local mother of four, ages 5 to 15. She is married to Luke and they are busy raising their three sons and a daughter. Leslie teaches 5th Grade at Whitefield Academy and uses the Love & Logic principles in the classroom as well as at home. She has enjoyed facilitating Love & Logic classes since 2018, and considers it a privilege to come alongside other parents to connect and encourage one another!
