Businesses Growing Character
The Community of Character Business Sector is actively involved in promoting character throughout the community. The Business Sector is comprised of local businesses who want to impact Lee's Summit youth and the community as a whole. Programs the sector supports and sponsors include the Mayor's Character Breakfast, the recognition of ethical business practices in the Lee's Summit community and the sponsorship of service projects in the classrooms which give students a chance to experience community involvement and service.
The Business Sector is always looking for reputable businesses who would like make a positive impact on the community.

Mayor's Character Breakfast
Since 2004, Lee's Summit CARES has hosted the Mayor's Character Breakfast - a celebration of character in the Lee's Summit community. During the breakfast, members of our community receive the prestigious Reflections of Character award.
